Privacy Policy

As described below, NandoMiranda.com collects data about site usage. It only collects the personal contact data that is submitted by visitors on the contact page that could be used to identify a NandoMiranda.com visitor.

General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR

The European Union GDPR came into force on 25 May 2018. It addresses personal data and privacy issues for people within the European Union, giving them greater control over personal data. Under the GDPR, websites which collect personal data must obtain specific consent from site visitors to do so. These websites must also allow people access to their personal data, and the right to request erasure of personal data.

How is data collected?

When a customer fills out and submits a contact form, the personal data is collected and stored by NandoMiranda.com for the purposes of customer communications and possibly email marketing or personalized advertising. For the latter, I will personally request from a customer directly if s/he would like to receive any future updates. Customer consent is acknowledged when a form is filled out and submitted. Customers may also choose to directly email me.

Confidentiality

Any personal information supplied to NandoMiranda.com by telephone, email or direct message is known only to NandoMiranda.com and under no circumstance will be disclosed, given or sold to, or traded with any third party, unless required to do so by law. Additionally, clients of Nando Miranda Consulting may sign a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement if requested by one or both parties.

Wix.com host platform

NandoMiranda.com is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows me to present my services offered to you in the form of a web site. The collection of personal data via NandoMiranda.com on Wixcom’s data storage or databases or Wix.com applications, is all stored on secure servers behind a firewall. At this moment, there are no instances where you can purchase services directly from NandoMiranda.com via Wix.com’s platform.

Google Analytics cookies

NandoMiranda.com uses Google, Inc.'s Google Universal Analytics service. Google Analytics uses cookies to help analyze how visitors use the NandoMiranda.com. The information from the cookies is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers. Google uses the information to evaluate the use of the NandoMiranda.com and compile reports on site activity (ex. number of visitors to each page) for NandoMiranda.com’s host platform by Wix.com, and provide other services relating to site activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer the information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Visitors' IP addresses are anonymized during collection. NandoMiranda.com uses the information from Google Analytics to evaluate the use of and make improvements to the site.

Social media links

NandoMiranda.com has links to other social media platforms of which Nando Miranda or Nando Miranda Consulting has a presence. Clicking on those links opens a browser window for those platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Each of these social media platforms have their own privacy policies that are independent from the privacy policy of NandoMiranda.com.

NandoMiranda.com reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. This policy was last updated on August 22nd, 2020.
